Apart from having a good strategy and money for initial setup, what do i need to have before i could set up an online company in Singapore and sell forex trading alerts to customers?
Any licences? Qualifications?
Cheers!
Good Luck With that one , you will need to be able to compete with the Best of the Best as of right now forex ring leader is considered the top Forex Signal alert Company and has been around for about 3 years and has never lost a month yet! Then you’re going to have to be able to beat there minimum pip guarantee of 350 pips per month or the next month is free. Last time I check there where giving out free trials still.
Then you’re going to need to be able to send your alerts via e-mail and “sms” around the world and to any country in under 5 seconds. And you’re going to need a detailed trading report that is to verify or risk being called a scam. There are a lot of alert services that pop up every month but never last long due to the stiff completion from the big guys. Before you waste your time take a look at fxringleader track record for ideas on how good you’re going to need to be. And whatever you do when you build a new alert site NEVER post a fake trading history. It’s easy to detect and you will be out of business fast.
This is the current trading report: http://www.fxringleader.com/PastAlerts/View_All_Reports/index.html

I was just fooling around with the practice forex for a couple of hours today and made around $5k profit.
The simulations frequently do not match real world conditions.
Quoting from a federal government website:
"Real-time is not real: when marketing trading systems, some promoters claim that their systems have performed successfully in "Real-time Trading." This means only that the system has been tested using a live data-feed, rather than being tested using historical market data.
Remember though that in real-time trading, no trades have actually been placed in the market. Performance results based on real-time trading are merely another form of hypothetical results, with the same limitations. "

If I have the money, how do I make it grow in forex trading?
Forex trading is just like any other financial investment tool. Takes money and some smarts and patience. Although their are a lot of perks with forex trading such as 24 hour trading, largest liquid market, and very high volatility, one should still educate themselves as you would on any type of investment. Unless you just do not care about your money.
First I would recommend learning up on some technical analysis. Just search that phrase with "forex" in front and you will find millions of resources. Then educate yourself up on fundamental influence on the currencies. Everyone finds there own knack at trading the forex market so don’t blindly fall into a so called forex guru’s marketing trap.

I’m into Forex trading. I wonder if there is a way to predict or find patterns in the way exchange rates move. Anyone have any techniques or suggestions?
When I feel like getting back into my charts I like to use pivot points, Fibonacci studies and Stochastics to predict price movements and support and resistance levels.
The majority of my Forex activity is now based on hedging strategies as a key element of a long term investment focus.

I’d like to know what books you would recommend to someone who would like to make it in the forex business. I’d love to learn from experienced traders talking about their struggles in this very tough market.
there is not one book that will make you successful trader!
only your personal experience, talent and self-control!
